Description
Another splash page from my unpublished comic Shrike - references to humanity. There are many more random pages from it in my gallery. This depicts a conversation between the ship (which is an AI) and its pilot. Text has been removed.
The final layout will probably be only a cropped version of this, to focus attention more on the conversation itself, without the distracting stuff in the lower left and upper right, but I uploaded this full version to DA for now. This might also double as a title page.
Some experimenting (made a quick model of the ship to try out the perspective was done in Google Sketchup (a really neat free 3D modeller), all else done in GIMP 2.4.5.
Comments and critique appreciated as usual.

Wonderful painting! I love the colors, light, and comic book feel. Plus, I'm delighted that you used Gimp and not a pirated version of Photoshop, like most people.
