Another image in my "... of trolls" series (check out my gallery for several other examples). The trolls of Swedish folklore could really look very different - from big and lumbering to almost human-like and beautiful in a troll-way. This is my take on the old mythos.
This is a mother's day card (Mother's day takes place the last Sunday in May in Sweden) to my mother who really likes this troll-girl character. MyPaint + GIMP. Any feedback is of course appreciated, especially if there is somethign I can fix before handing it over.  . Griatch Comments

[link]  Really nice! if there is something to fix then its the foot on the ground. It looks a little wider and flatter than it should be.

. Griatch  Ok so here you have a super fast reply.
Colors: good contrast between greens and reds working as oposites. works for me. i lve this tone of pink of the left. backgroun is simple but efective. Composition: a bit flat but ok the weight is balanced. Lighting: too strong with some weirds effects in the arm for example near the shoulder. Trolls Skin is not metallic i think to have all these specular brights.  Theme: Surpresive. beautiful troll and a very manga pose Details to fix:the right hand (nails) are melting with background. Too much heavy hair imho. like tina turner omg!. i have a headache. and finally the cloth on the bottom part it seems more a bell than a dress.
