Speckled face

UPDATE: After some considerable comments and critique on this image over time, I have made an update to this image; changing the structure of the face, mouth, nose and eyes a bit as well as many other minor tweaks.

A quick experiment in creating more "realistic" skin, with freckles. some unevenness etc; i.e. how a real person's skin looks. The character is imaginary.

All done in GIMP 2.4.4, default brushes and some custom ones for skin and hair.
