This is yet another random splash scene from my unpublished comic Shrike - references to humanity, I've uploaded several of these to DA before. Text has been removed. This image is also called I guess I'm French for various reasons that would be obvious when reading the actual comic.
This is also used as an IC roleplaying image in EVE online [link] This was an attempt at reflection and light effects, both in the glass of the space station window and the shiny material in her low-pressure suit. GIMP 2.4.5, from scratch. Reference was used for the Earth reflection. EDIT: After comments, I made some considerable changes to the reflection, to match how it would realistically look on a confex surface like this (all of Earth should show), as well as mirroring Earth as it should be in a reflection. .  Awesome, the anatomy is very good, and the light effects are great as well.
When you say from scratch, does that include the reflection of the Earth? (Africa I think...) -- Look behind you...a three-headed monkey! Proud Member of ~Apophysis No, in that sense it's not really "from scratch" I guess. The relfection of the Earth is based off a reference. My geography is good, but not that good.
