Done from scratch in the free program GIMP 2.4.5. Yet another of my attempts at more realism.

This is a two-page spread from my unpublished comic Shrike-references to humanity. I removed the text captions to show the art itself. The protagonist is sitting at the plastic table at the center of the image; you'll recognize her from a few other pages that have appeared here on DA, for example this one: [link]

Also using this as a IC reference piece in EVE online. :)

By the way, she's using a wristComp, a mini-computer that displays a keyboard of light on the table on one side and projects the computer interface on the other side. She's using an unfolded menu as a makeshift "screen". Yes, this is the future. :)


I really recommend looking at the details in this, there are a lot of them. The original (available if you get the print) is 5012x3508 pixels, I'm thinking of getting a print myself just to see how it looks ... :D
